ハートのイラストがポーチやトートバッグなどになりました。

canal4℃ 秋のビジュアル
canal4℃ のメインビジュアルが秋色に変わりました。
今回は、パリ在住のいとこと街角を散歩中、広場に移動公園を発見。
メリーゴーランドに駆け寄っているシーンです。

「イタリア古典技法による額縁作り」
先月、武蔵野美術学園夏休みセミナー「イタリア古典技法による額縁作り」に参加して、
額縁作りを学びました。
中世から初期ルネッサンス時代の技法に基づいた本格的な額縁作りです。
このセミナーでは、あらかじめ用意された額縁の木地に石膏を塗るところから初め、
途中盛り上げなどをした後下地を塗り、金箔を貼って磨き、
箔を部分的に取ったりして仕上げるまでを2日半で実習しました。
何事にも「ファスト」に慣れたきょうこのごろ、
ゆったりとした工程の「古典技法」は新鮮な体験でした。
Classic Italian Frame Making Technique
Last month, I participated in ” Classic Italian Frame Making”,
a summer workshop class which took place at Musashino Art School.
At the workshop, I learned to make frames using techniques from Medieval to
Renascence period.In the workshop, we painted plaster on top of wooden frame
to create texture and then layered ground medium.
At last, we gilded a picture frame with gold leaf.
It took me 2 days and a half to complete the frame.
The experience was very refreshing for me. It was nice to take time on each process
when we are normally so caught up in time.
